Driving License/Conversion
All EU/EFTA driving licenses are recognized in Liechtenstein. They only need to be exchanged if there have been changes to the license. Licenses from Switzerland must be exchanged within 14 days.
Persons with foreign driving licenses may need to take a driving test at the Road Traffic Office, or they may need to pass a theory test. More information can be found here:
LIEmobil - Line Buses
Public transport is well-developed in Liechtenstein. All municipalities in the country are easily reachable by line buses. The border stations in Sargans, Buchs, and Feldkirch can also be easily reached by line buses.
All municipalities support their residents in purchasing a bus subscription. Bring the purchased subscription and the invoice to the municipal administration of your domicile municipality. You will receive a financial contribution back.

Local Buses
Each of Balzers and Vaduz has a local bus. The use is free.
Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB)
On the ÖBB section Feldkirch-Buchs, a regional train operates. Here, the four stops Schaanwald, Nendeln, Schaan Forst, and Schaan are in Liechtenstein.
